There is always something new about the UK immigration system and one recent big development has been the launch of the Skilled Worker Visa replacing the previous Tier 2 (General) Visa. It’s a visa that allows non-UK citizens to enter the UK and work for an employer who is a sponsor of the UK Home Office.
How Does The Skilled Worker Visa Work?
A Skilled Worker Visa lets foreigners work in the UK for a licensed employer. : You will need a job offer from an organization that holds a sponsor license to be considered. Brexit has altered the rules for EU citizens too. Until Brexit, there was no visa for EU nationals to enter the UK and work in the UK. But post 31 December 2020, EU citizens and non-EU citizens need a visa to work in the UK.
